Writers' Workshops

EVERY Wednesday Night, the workshop starts at 6 PM and sign-ups for the night's reading take place between 6-6:30 PM.

Each writer is given 15 minutes to read his or her material. This is followed by 5 minutes of critique.

During the critique, group members limit themselves to the craft of the writing, not the content of the writing.  This is the method we use to help each other grow as professional writers.

There is a brief business meeting at the beginning of the session on the second Wednesdays. After all business has been conducted, members who have written original, unpublished work are invited to read their work to the group.
